Immerse yourself in a feast of fun at The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show!

This evening of non-stop entertainment includes performances by traditional singers, dancers and drummers, face painting and a four-course dinner featuring local cuisine. The grand finale is an interactive drumming show, giving you the chance to discover your inner African rhythm! There is also a good list of beverages available, including wine and beer.

On arrival you will be dressed in a chitenge (sarong), and after being seated, you will have the chance to take part in a traditional hand washing ceremony and sip on a mug of local beer, before tucking into a shared starter platter, featuring skewered peppered impala, smoked crocodile tail and corn ciabatta and “nyimo” fritters. This is followed by soup from the campfire.

The main course buffet offers the popular warthog fillet, mouth-watering grilled ostrich, buffalo curry, lamb on the spit, game stews and kudu steak. There are also vegetarian options available, with an extensive salad bar, as well as local dishes such as peanut butter spinach and sadza (a thick porridge made from ground maize that forms Zimbabwe’s staple diet).

If you are feeling brave, try a dried mopane worm, and don’t forget to claim your certificate as proof! Finish off with something sweet by indulging in our wide selection of desserts from the buffet.

Bookings are essential, and it is recommended that you are seated by 7.15pm to make the most of this incredible experience.
